Navi specializes in International Human Rights law, European Union law, Immigration and Asylum law, Public law, Prison law and Civil Actions against the Police.
He is recommended by Chambers & Partners for Immigration and Asylum law and has developed a strong and successful Administrative Court and Court of Appeal practice in this area.
Navi has practiced international human right law for many years, as the Head of International Legal Affairs at the Sikh Human rights Group, and as the Assistant Director of the AIRE Centre (Advice on Individual Rights in Europe), and has been involved in over 40 applications to the European Court of Human Rights. He regularly delivers training seminars on the European Convention on Human Rights and European Union law to Judges in Central and Eastern Europe for the Council of Europe. He was recently junior counsel to Mohammed Al Fayed in the Princess Diana Inquest. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with.
