Naeem Mian

Naeem practices primarily in criminal law and has proven to be a popular choice of counsel amongst both solicitors and lay clients. Recognised for his skilful and robust advocacy, Naeem has rapidly built both a reputation and successful defence practice since coming to the Bar. Whether as junior counsel being led or instructed alone he is usually briefed in cases that are often seen as the preserve of counsel with greater seniority. Naeem is regularly instructed to act for defendant's charged with the most serious offences including Terrorist Act offences, multi defendant murder and large scale multi-defendant drug and fraud cases.

He is currently acting for Mr Saleem in the case of R v Ali, Saleem & Shakil in which the defendant's are jointly charged with Conspiracy to Cause Explosions With Intent To Endanger Life (the 7/7 bombings of the London transport system- Operation Theseus).
