Clive is a Child law specialist practicing in all areas of Family law as it relates to children with an emphasis on care proceedings and adoption. In his 20 years as a solicitor he regularly appeared as an advocate for local authorities, parents and children either directly or through their Children's Guardian at all levels of court.

He prides himself on client care both with lay and professional clients. In 2004 he was appointed to the Family Procedure Rules Committee.
