Amanda practices across a broad range of public and human rights law ranging from immigration and detention to mental health and community care with a particular emphasis on vulnerable adults (including in the Court of Protection) and children's cases (including support and welfare for young adults leaving care). She also acts in civil actions against public authorities including government departments, coroners and the police, public law challenges to criminal prosecutions and cases raising issues of European law.
She is identified as a ‘leading junior' by both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 in the categories of Human Rights/Civil Liberties and Immigration.
