Gaza Protest Sentences Cut

A group of Tooks lawyers scored a notable victory in the Court of Appeal on July 13th when Joel Bennathan QC, Garry Green, Sam Robinson, Sultana Tafadar and Srikantharajah Nereshraaj represented 6 out of the 10 protesters who were before the court.

Five of their clients saw their sentences cut. In particular the Court reduced the sentences on two teenage protestors to allow for their immediate release and imposed a community sentence on another young protestor that may allow him to resume his hoped-for career.
