Martin Huseyin Acts for Son of Murdered Couple in Controversial Inquest

A coroner's jury in Lincoln found that Nottinghamshire Police failed John and Joan Stirland who were murdered in the seaside bungalow where they were in hiding from a Nottingham based Organised Crime Group.

The jury found that the Notts force failed to manage intelligence about the risk, failed to share information with their Lincolnshire counterparts, failed to take reasonable steps to protect the couple and failed to properly investigate an earlier series of reprisal attacks on the friends and family of 2 men who were convicted of a 2003 murder in Nottingham.
