Plot to Kidnap and Behead a British Muslim Soldier

In the trial of Parviz Khan and others, which centred on a plot to kidnap and behead a British muslim soldier, all but one of the defendants either pleaded guilty or were found guilty. Amjad Mahmood, who was represented by Tim Moloney leading Di Middleton, was acquitted of all counts he faced on 18 February 2008. Having been remanded in custody for a year awaiting trial, Mr. Mahmood is now free to see his six month old son for the first time.
