Mediation services
We offer a comprehensive mediation service.
Mediation is an important tool for resolving workplace disputes as conflicts in the workplace inevitably involve complex relationships which have often evolved over time. The advantages of mediation are that the process is less formal, cheaper and a collaborative solution can be reached, putting the parties in a "win/win" situation. Mediation can be particularly effective in sensitive discrimination cases, in which a non-monetary outcome such as an apology and creation/adjustments to policies and practices is required.

Members of the team are accredited with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).

Our mediation experience crosses all our areas of activity including:

  • discrimination cases including discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion, belief and age
  • equal pay,
  • unfair dismissal,
  • redundancy,
  • breach of contract,
  • deductions from wages,
  • individual and collective trade union rights,
  • whistle blowing,
  • professional disciplinary hearings and
  • proceedings before the Care Standards Tribunal and the Central Arbitration Committee.
