Direct Public Access

Direct Public Access

Under the new Direct Public Access scheme members of the public are now able to instruct barristers directly for legal advice & advocacy. The amendment to the Code of Conduct allows barristers to undertake work from lay clients without the need for a solicitor or other intermediary professional to be instructed.

Please see the list on the right of members of Tooks Chambers who have accredited Public Access Licenses through the College of Law.

If you would like to instruct a barrister through the Direct Public Access Scheme please call our team of clerks on 020 7842 7575 or email clerks@tooks.co.uk
