Work Experience

Tooks Chambers offers work experience to school and college students. Placements are suitable for individuals of 15 years of age or above or pupils in year 11 or above.

Work experience students will be given an introduction to Chambers staff and premises. They will have the opportunity to spend time with and learn about the work of Chambers. Depending on the level of experience, work experience students may have the opportunity to go to court to watch a case. Work experience students are asked to write a short report on their experience at the end of their placement.

One work experience placement is available each week throughout the year, except during Easter, August and the Christmas period. Applications for work experience should be sent to Natasha Coburn, giving details of the student and dates of availability. Applications should be accompanied by Chambers' Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form (available below).

Chambers is committed to diversity amongst its staff and practitioners. We particularly encourage and welcome applications from women, people with disabilities and people of minority ethnic origin.
