CIVIL CLERK

SALARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

Tooks Chambers is a large, modern, leading set of chambers committed to providing a high quality service to our clients. We are seeking an outstanding individual to act as the Civil Clerk to chambers, assisting the Deputy Senior Clerk in the management of the Civil diaries, covering all aspects of chambers Civil practice areas, as well as assisting with the supervision of the Family Team. The successful applicant will have the responsibility for management and practice development in these areas.

The successful applicant will also deputise for the Deputy Senior Clerk.

The duties will also require the candidate to be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of Civil clerking, and preferably family work, at all levels, including Diary and Fees management and participation in promoting and marketing the teams and chambers generally.

A minimum of 10 years experience and comprehensive knowledge of all fee regulations are desirable. Excellent communication skills and experience of supervising more junior staff would be helpful as well as a working knowledge of the IRIS MLC Diary & Fees system.
