What is "Chambers E-mail"?

Over the August break we have been performing upgrade work on the Chambers E-mail system making it ready for wider use by you and to improve the service being provided to staff. "Chambers E-mail" provides Chambers with service that will make it easier for you to communicate both amongst yourselves and also with your clients and to present a professional and unified image.

There are many advantages to making use of Chambers E-mail including:

  1. Having a business E-mail and a personal E-mail address.
  2. Creating a stronger impression not only for you and your practice but also for Chambers.
  3. Access to a Chambers Address Book – a centrally managed address book for everyone in Chambers including the Distribution lists.
  4. Providing you with the same view of your E-mail wherever you are and whichever device you are using.
  5. Having your messages easily tracked if needed so we can tell you where problems are occurring.
  6. Allowing us to actively manage your E-mail, helping you archive it as and when necessary so there are effectively no limits on how much E-mail you can store.
  7. Using an E-mail system where your E-mail is backed up every day.
  8. Potential to view your live Chambers Diary online, via your PC or mobile phone – no more waiting for E-mails to arrive
  9. Giving you a single view of your contacts on your mobile phone, if you lose your phone your contacts are still available.
  10. Hey, it’s FREE! OK, strictly speaking that’s not true, Chambers has invested in the system so it is there for you to use!)

The Chambers E-mail is not intended to be a direct replacement for your own E-mail account but it to complement it and offer you more. The system also provides access to personal calendars and contacts and both can also appear on your mobile phone (if suitable). We are also proposing to hook up to the Chambers Diary system to the Chambers E-mail Calendar system giving you live access to your diary bookings from your mobile phone or PC.
