Saving Sanctuary – the last event at Warner Yard

Saving Sanctuary is an exhibition of photographs by Sarah Booker for the Citizens for Sanctuary Campaign. We are hosting the event to mark the end of our 25th anniversary year and our move to new premises at the end of May thus marking the end of one era for us and the beginning of the next phase in our history.

Saving Sanctuary contrasts the experiences of those who have fled horrific situations in their homelands and sought sanctuary in the UK, with the perceptions of sanctuary by members of the UK public seeking to escape the everyday stresses of life.

Rebecca Chapman will introduce the evening. Guest speakers include a commissioner from the Independent Asylum Commission, leaders from refugee communities and Carina Crawford Rolt from Citizens for Sanctuary.

The evening starts at 6:30pm on Thursday 6th May. Refreshments will be served.
